Fall Meeting

We have reserved a pavilion at Fort Frederick State Park for the fall meeting / picnic of the Christian Ardinger Chapter Sons of the American Revolution.

We will be able to visit the Fort and it's museum and talk to the Rangers about the Fort's history and it's future.

We are having a picnic style meeting.
The attire is casual.
The menu is hot dogs and hamburgers.
If you wish to bring a covered dish, please do so.
We will be voting for officers,
We will be discussing the upcoming events of our chapter.

Spring Dinner

The spring dinner meeting of the Christian Ardinger Chapter, MDSSAR, will be held Friday, 21 May 2019, at Hempen Hill BBQ, 13208 Fountain Head Plaza Hagerstown, Maryland.

Dress is casual.

Christian Ardinger Chapter Fall Dinner

The fall dinner meeting of the Christian Ardinger Chapter, MDSSAR, will be held Friday, 26 October 2018, at Old South Mountain Inn, 6132 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland.

We will convene at 6:00. Dinner will be at 6:30.

Our program will include a discussion of the MD Archives research into the Maryland 400 supported by MDSSAR.

If you will be attending, please return the slip below by the date indicated (October 5). If you have questions for discussion please include them on the back of your slip when returning your payment.

DAR Picnic

It is that time of year again for the picnic. The SAR-DAR picnic will be on Wednesday, 22 August, at the Benevola Church pavilion at 5 pm. The church is located at 19925 Benevola Church Road Boonsboro, MD 21713. Bring a covered dish and join the fun.

Memorial Day 2018

We will be joining the Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 for our memorial day festivities on Sunday May 27. The event will be outside the Washington County Courthouse at Washington St and Summit Ave in Hagerstown, MD. We will be presenting a wreath from our chapter prior to the ceremony. Please plan to arrive at 1:00 PM and the ceremony should start between 1:15 and 1:30. The address is 95 National Pike, Hagerstown, MD.
